Millard Church Leadership Structure

Our Pastor is the spiritual leader of our church.  The administration and support tasks for the church are managed by these committees: Unified Board, Strategy/Pastoral Relations Committee, Disciples of Christ (DOCs) Committee, Education Committee and Fellowship Committee.

Unified Board

Our deacons, deaconesses, and trustees comprise the unified board with the aid and advice of the pastor and the following annually-elected officers: Moderator, Clerk, Treasurer, and Financial Secretary. 

The unified board meets monthly to manage the administrative affairs of the church. The Unified Board is also charged by our constitution with responsibility for calling at least two meetings of the congregation each year: the annual meeting and election of officers in January and the semi-annual meeting in July.

Strategy/Pastoral Relations Committee

The members of this committee meet regularly with the pastor to discuss goals and new initiatives for the church and to ensure ongoing support for the Pastor.  The Strategy Committee is an advisory body that recommends actions to the Unified Board.

DOCs Committee

Members of the DOCS Committee focus on Millard's ministry objectives.  This committee has been instrumental in directing our prayer chain, improving our welcome to visitors including producing a visitors information packet.

Education Committee

The Education Committee is charged with oversight for Christian education for all ages.  Our Pastor and our elected Sunday School Superintendent are advisors to this committee. 

Fellowship Committee

The Fellowship Committee focuses on organizing events to bring members and friends together to enjoy each other and to build strong, lasting relationships.
